The Della Basketball Club is an Adidas Grassroots program, offering teams that compete at the 3SSB, Gold, and Silver Levels of the Adidas Circuit. We are dedicated to developing the youth in the Kansas and Missouri areas, by supporting their academic and athletic goals. Our program competes nationally and is a platform to teach life lessons and character development such as how to be a leader, handle adversity, and work in a team setting. Our goal is to build each player’s self-esteem, self-reliance, self-worth, independence, and sense of ongoing security. We aim to break down the barriers created by financial situations, abilities, and demographics in order to give every athlete the opportunity to succeed in playing the game that they love.
We have developed a basketball program that is accessible to athletes who desire to work hard and become the best basketball player that they can be. We provide teams at various competitive levels. We develop quality individuals who value integrity, fairness, responsibility, and maturity. We expect our coaches and athletes to approach every game with the mindset of upholding Della Lamb as an elite national program. This means demonstrating good sportsmanship and proper basketball etiquette by respecting the opposing players, coaches, and officials.
We also believe that the culture of the program is important in the development of each player. We work with parents to ensure we are meeting the needs of their players and provide feedback. We realize that players and parents have options when it comes to choosing the right program, but we believe that no other program will develop and care for young female athletes like Della Lamb will; IT’S THE DELLA WAY!!
The 3SSB and Gauntlet series is a travel team circuit for Adidas-sponsored teams to gain exposure in front of college coaches, media outlets, and their peers. Teams face high-level national competition allowing players to prepare for the challenges and opportunities they will ultimately face in college. Please note that 3SSB and Gauntlet Gold events are invite-only.
