The Lead Teacher is responsible for providing a developmentally appropriate educational environment and is accountable for their classroom management and operation. Major responsibilities include appropriate interactions with children, communication with parents, collaboration with the Program Director, completion of periodic assessments, and implementation of policies and practices as outlined by Della Lamb and early education guidelines.
An appropriate Missouri Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Special Education is required to serve as a lead teacher in this classroom. An Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
As an FSSP Case Aid and Intake Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals participating in the Refugee Support Services (RSS) program. You will be responsible for working with RSS Case Managers to ensure timely updates to Family Self Sufficiency Plans as required for program compliance as well as assisting with initial client intake and enrollment. This position reports to the RSS Program Manager. This position requires a commitment to teamwork, patience, adaptability, servant leadership, humility of spirit, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to learning and growth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality instruction to adult learners, promoting effective communication skills, and facilitating the integration of Refugees into our community.
The R&P Coordinator will actively work with healthcare partners to address initial healthcare needs of newly arrived refugee families by handling scheduling and transportation coordination for Refugee Medical Screenings (RMS). The R&P Coordinator will also coordinate Cultural Orientation (CO) classes and transportation schedules to ensure that these classes are attended within the first 30 days of arrival. This position will work closely with the R&P Program Manager to ensure programmatic compliance regarding RMS and CO completion.

The case worker will work closely with clients and colleagues to develop client-centric goals for initial employment and the extended resettlement process. The case manager will also seek to cultivate healthy partnerships with employers, community agencies, and volunteers to address the needs of program participants and to enhance cultural orientation provided to clients.
